Wini V. Dietrich

December 24, 1917 — May 2, 2017

Wini Voleta (Crosby) Dietrich, 99, was born north of Anadarko on Christmas Eve 1917 to Claud and Lottie Pearl (Addington) Crosby. She died May 2, 2017 in Carnegie. She graduated from Anadarko High School in 1936. She took a post graduate course at Minco and went on to Oklahoma City taking more business courses and completing comptometry school. She moved to Stillwater and worked for the Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA) in Stillwater for three years. While at Stillwater she met Edward Allen (Edd) Dietrich and they were married November 7, 1942 at Okmulgee, where he was stationed in the Army Air Corp.

Wini began working at the Anadarko Medical Clinic in 1967 and retired in 1983. Wini is a longtime devoted member of the First Baptist Church and sang in the Adult Choir for several years.

Wini's children are sons, Allen Dietrich & wife Shelly of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Van Dietrich & wife Sherry of Carnegie, Oklahoma and daughter Lynn Ann Dietrich, Carnegie, Oklahoma

She has six grandchildren: Raymond Dietrich of Garland, Texas, Edward & Robin Dietrich, Carnegie, Oklahoma, David & Ashley Dietrich, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Michael and Brooke Dietrich, Carnegie,Oklahoma, Mindy & Will Brock, Mtn. View, Oklahoma and Cameron Newport of Carnegie, Oklahoma.

Ten Great grandchildren: John Dietrich, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Trinity, Vivian, Bella, and Willow Dietrich of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Joseph, Mark and Eli Dietrich, Carnegie, Cale and Luke Brock, Mtn View, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Pearl Crosby, husband, Edward (Edd) Dietrich in 1983. Five older brothers and spouses: Virgil & Naomi Crosby, Elton & Helen Crosby, Gerald & Etta Crosby, Kenneth & Dorothy Crosby and Curtis Crosby. She was also preceded in death by sisters in law, Violeta (Pet) Hardy, Merrell Patterson and brother in law T.M. Dietrich and Sybil (Marge) Dietrich.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital.

Interment: Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK
