Wilson Lovelace

Wilson Lovelace, 75, longtime resident of Carnegie, OK passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home August 10, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 26, 1940 in Clinton, OK to Ivan and Ida (Wolf) Lovelace. He married Sherrill Gregory in 1976. They raised 5 children together. Wilson loved his children and grandchildren. They were his life. He was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and a member of the Antique Tractor Club.

Gunner Lovelace of Carnegie, OK
Trapper Lovelace Jr. of Carnegie, OK
Kendall Lovelace of Carnegie, OK
One great grandchild, Victoria Faith of Arizona
two brothers, Jim Lovelace and his wife Vicki of McLoud, OK
Lem Lovelace of Oklahoma City, OK
one sister, Caroline Terrell and her husband Jim of Edmond, OK.
Also, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Dinah Lovelace and his son, Larry Lovelace, two brothers, Edgar Lovelace and Paul Lovelace.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, OK.
Burial will follow at the Pine Ridge/Pleasant View Cemetery south of Ft. Cobb, OK.
Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
