William Tawkoyty, 33 of Carnegie passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma to Allen and Jewell (Aitson) Tawkoyty on February 26, 1982. William attended NorthWest Classen High School. He loved playing Minecraft on the playstation 3. William was also really good with computers. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and a decendent of White Buffalo and Millie Durgan Goombi.


He is survived by his mother; Jewell Aitson Tawkoyty, Carnegie, Oklahoma
his father; Allen Devon Tawkoyty, Anadarko, OK

aunts: Sharon Aitson, Carnegie, OK, Marsha Gomez Gayla Taylor, Carla Tawkoyty all of Lawton

uncles: Amos Aitson, Jr of Carnegie, Raymond Tawkoyty, Virgil Tawkoyty, Kenny Tawkoyty, Max Tawkoyty, Larriel Tawkoyty, all of Lawton, Matthew Komalty, Sr., Bruce Horse, and Myron Vern Kaulaity of Anadarko
cousins: Tosickah Joyce Arocha and Joe D. Arocha III, both of Carnegie, Hattie Shalaine Aitson, of Lawton, Michael Dale Longhat, Verden, OK

four adopted brothers: Brandon Morrison (Amanda), Deion Harp (Felicia), Adam Stone, Jeff Kiger, all of Oklahoma City

two nieces: Kaliyah Harp and Alana Morrison; nephews: Trenton Harp and Brixton Morrison all of Oklahoma City

He was preceded in death by grandparents William and Thelma Joyce (Guoladdle) Aitson, uncles, Lucius "Yogi" Aitson and Matthew Pena, Aunts, Lydia Aitson Arocha and Cheryl Lynn Aitson, great-great grandmother: Vena Ware Komalty and Carrie White Buffalo Aitson Tofpi; great-great grandfather Matthew Rusty Komalty and John Pershing Tofpi; grandmothers, Marlene Joyce Toyekoyah Tawkoyty and Marie Komalty Satepeahtaw, grandfather Wayne Boulden Tawkoyty, uncles Archie Lynn Ware, Melvern Komalty, Thad Dee Toyekoyah, Warren Beau-Jack Hokeah, Wayne Tawkoyty, Jr., Kevin Tawkoyty


Wake Services will be at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016
Both services will be held at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, OK with Pastor Rudy Tartsah, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie.
