William (Bill) Rozell Elix, AKA "Bubba" of Hobart passed away Thursday August 25,2022 in Oklahoma City.
He was born May 6, 1940, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Joe and Willie Stein Elix. Bubba attended Dunbar High School, and after graduation spent several years in the Air Force.
Bubba married Frances (Susie) Wagoner and together had six beautiful children. He worked as a butcher for a local packing company for many years.
In the late seventy he move to Oklahoma City and worked as an ironworker in the union. There he married Evelyn McMurray until her passing in 2010. After retiring from the union, Bubba joined Oklahoma Publishing Company "OPUBCO" Security team, serving over sixteen years before he retired.
Bubba loved meeting his friends at McDonalds for coffee and a great laugh. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. Bubba was an active member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City until he moved back to Hobart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Willie Stein Elix, 2 sisters; Joyce Sommers and Cheryl Elix, 1 brother; Joe Elix.
Bubba is survived by 1 brother, Richard Elix Sr. ; 1 sister Sandra Elix, 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, Todd and Denise of Shawnee, Greg Elix of Hobart, 5 daughters and 2 son-in-law; LaDonna Elix of Hobart, Yvonne Elix of Hobart, Judy and Milton Bundick of Georgia, Karen Elix of Hobart, Shanda and Anthony Glover of Oklahoma City; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
