God called Bill home on August 14th, 2021. William Leroy Conrad was born and raised in Altoona, PA. He was one of three children born to Lee and Mildred (Ott) Conrad on May 11, 1942. He graduated from Altoona High School 1960, from there he joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base in Burns Flat, OK. It was there he met and later married the love of his life, Evelyn Sullins, on September 26, 1963. In June of 1968, came their greatest blessing, Taffy. That was until 1994 when someone way better than her came along, their grandson, Zack (Any grandparent knows it's true). Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who lead by example and was the consistent rock upon which they leaned. Bill chose to build his solid foundation with his Savior, being baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in 1982 by Bro. Dwayne Hinds. The Conrad's made Hobart, OK their home for over 40 years. Bill was affectionately known throughout western Oklahoma as "The Tire Man", with his ability to successfully sell millions of dollars of tires to area farmers, truckers, and construction companies. Bill counted all of his customers as his friends.
The teachings of his devotion to his family, faithfulness and stead-fastness in life's challenges will be remembered and lived out by his daughter, Taffy of Yukon, OK.
Grandson Zackary Henderson and wife, Rachel of Elk City, OK.
He is also survived by his sister Sandra Mallory of Tucson, AZ.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Lee and step mother Ann Conrad, mother Mildred Conrad, wife Evelyn, grandson Chase Henderson, brother Tom Conrad, and his beloved in-laws, Vernon and Clara Sullins.
To our rock that always remained steady, you will forever be remembered.
