Wayne Leon Patterson was born to Elmo and Oleta (Bryant) Patterson on August 21st, 1945. He passed away May 28th, 2021 at the age of 75 in his hometown of Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Wayne attended school at Carnegie and later graduated from Anadarko High School in 1964. At a young age, Wayne began working and had several jobs including delivering newspapers for the Anadarko Daily News, the Tasty Freeze, Safe Way, as well as farming. He met his lovely wife, Judy in January of 1967 and seven months later the two were wed. Together they had two beautiful daughters Kimberly Ann and Karla Rachelle. They built their life together on their family farm east of Carnegie raising wheat, alfalfa, peanuts, and cattle.
Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, and reading the Anadarko Daily News. His grandchildren and granddogs were the light of his life.
