Wayne Harlan

Wayne Alvin Harlan went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1929 in Olustee, OK to William Aldine Harlan and Beulah Florence Johnson. At a young age he traveled with his family to California to work in the fruit orchards where he met the love of his life Thelma Long. When his children were young he worked in the Oilfields in Texas and later started working construction. He worked construction in many different states for the rest of his life. Wayne in his younger years enjoyed water skiing, playing cards, driving dune buggys in the desert, and he spent time drag racing at the track with his younger brother. As he got older he enjoyed reading, playing the guitar, and most of all being with family.

Survivors include 4 children: Margaret Coleman & husband Stormy of Wasilla, Alaska, Judith Taylor & husband Jackie of Anadarko, OK, Wayne Harlan Jr (Butch) & wife Marla of Anadarko, OK, & Shirley Kinder & late husband Eddy of Temple, OK

grandchildren: Garrett Towle of Kona, Hawaii, Kristi Wellenstein & husband Tom of Seattle, WA. Ravene Mainka-Warren & husband Bobby of Stratford OK, Jacob Henderson & wife Amanda of Lindsey, OK.
Katie Mercado of Anadarko OK, Eric Harlan & wife Jennifer of Anadarko, OK,
Jill Brown & husband Clifton of Southern Pines, NC.
Crissi Pulis of Walters, OK. Andrew Pulis & wife Holly of Walters, OK
Logan Pulis & wife Kassi of Geronimo, OK, Jon Kinder & wife Teri of Walters, OK,
Jeremy Kinder & wife Katy of Walters, OK,
and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Wayne is proceeded in death by: his parents William & Beulah, his wife Thelma,
2 brothers Lynn & David & 5 sisters Mae Crossman, Margaret Cantrell, Wilma Ramsey, Dean Elliott, & Polly Wilson-Queen

Memorial Services will be held at Memory Lane Cemetary Saturday
