Wanda Mae Wall

July 30, 1932 — September 2, 2018

Wanda was born on July 30, 1932 to John and Ellen (Caldwell) Allison. She was born on the family's farm home, south of Anadarko. She went to be with Jesus on September 2, 2018 at home in Anadarko with her family by her side. She graduated from Anadarko High School in 1950. On November 1, 1950 she married her best friend, Leo Wall. She remained in Anadarko, working at Callaway's Furniture Store while Leo served in the Korean War. After Leo came home, he and Wanda moved to Kansas City, Missouri where their first son, Randy, was born. They moved back to Anadarko in 1956. Here, their two other children, Doug and Gayle, were born. Wanda was a homemaker who raised her children to love the Lord Jesus Christ. After her children were raised, she attended Cameron University. In 1980, she earned a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in Spanish. She taught school for a number of years, until Leo retired and then they traveled the world together. She enjoyed square dancing with Leo and was an exceptional cook. They moved back to their hometown of Anadarko in 2001 to be close to family. Wanda loved, most in life, her Lord Jesus followed by taking care of her family. Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anadarko where she had many dear friends and loved volunteering. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo, who died in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jess Allison and Merle Allison, and her sisters, Emma Lamar and Delores Allison. Wanda is survived by: her sons, Randy Wall and wife Kathy of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Doug Wall and wife Yvonne of Bermuda Dunes, California; daughter Gayle Raley and husband Rodney of Anadarko, Oklahoma; grandchildren Jill England and Jessica Dickson of Jenks, Oklahoma, Cristy Machinski and husband Ryon of Vista, California, and her baby girl, Alaina Raley of Anadarko, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Anna England, Mazzy Machinski, Lynn and Calli Dickson; one brother, Richard Allison and wife Betty of Bossier City, Louisiana; one sister, Reba McGlothlin and husband Richard of Anadarko, Oklahoma; sister-in-law's Della Allison of Bristow, Oklahoma and Willie Wall of Ashdown, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
