Wanda Lee Hamlett

Wanda Hamlett, 67, Hobart, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born October 29, 1946, in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to Bob and Faye (Huddleston) Gilley. Wanda married Billy Hamlett on July 5, 1964, in Hobart, Oklahoma. They moved to Hobart in 1966 to make their home and start a family. Wanda was always a housewife taking care of her kids, then her grand-kids. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She always tried to take care of everyone.

She is survived by her husband Billy Hamlett, of the home,
three sons, Daniel Hamlett and wife Tracy, Dill City, OK
David Hamlett and wife Vickie, Hobart, OK
James Hamlett and Laurie, Hobart, OK
one daughter, Tammy Hamlett Chapa and husband, Frankie, Hobart, OK

four brothers, Keith Gilley, Timothy Gilley, Wayne Gilley, Marshall Gilley
five sisters, Linda Hamlett, Alice Pinnell, Delores Ensey, Mary Gilley, Rita Newberry

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Faye Gilley, brothers Raymond Gilley, and Jimmy Gilley, and sister Cora Elliot.


Family will meet and greet friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, May 26, 2014, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel, Hobart

Burial will follow in Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
