Wanda Sue Hainta

April 24, 1957 — November 4, 2011

Wanda Sue Hainta, 54, of Carnegie, OK passed away Friday, November 4th, 2011 at her residence in Carnegie, OK. Wanda was born March 24, 1957 in Clinton, OK to Ada Toppah and Virgil Tyler. She attended Carnegie School, Wichita Kansas School, and Chilocco Indian School. Wanda lived most of her life in Carnegie, OK. She was united in marriage to Harry Treat Hainta, July 7th, 1982. She was a member of Botone Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the Kiowa Tribe. Wanda greatly enjoyed Fire Fighting. She was a crew boss. She was privileged with the opportunity to travel all over the United States fighting fires. Wanda's grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
