Wanda Gibson,73, Lawton, OK, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8th, 2010 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Wanda was born on November 22nd, 1936in Oklahoma City to Bob and Opel ( Godfrey) Jarnagin. They resided in Colony, OK until Wanda was 3 years of age, at which time they moved to Carnegie. She graduated from Carnegie High School in 1955 and married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Wayne Gibson , on June 18th, 1955. They made their home in Carnegie until the fall of 1999 when they moved to Lawton. Wanda owned her own beauty shop, where she was a hairdresser and was in the retail cosmetic business. She also carried a line of clothing and costume jewelry. She was also an Executive Senior Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Over the years she has served as a judge for many beauty pageants through out the state. Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church in both Lawton and Carnegie, OK, where she loved to teach and sing. In addition to being a truly exceptional lady, she was a wonderful wife, mother and a super "Nanny" to her grandchildren.

Four Nieces: Debbie Johnson, Carnegie, OK, Marcy Allen, Hobart, OK, Toni Roland, Carnegie, OK and Lee Ann Perez, Ridge Springs, SC
One Nephew, Terry Gibson, Carrollton, TX
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Royce Dean Jarnagin.

First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow in the Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
