Wallace Linn Bointy

Wallace Linn "Hokeah" Bointy Jr., a resident of Anadarko, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Wallace Linn Jr. was born February 12, 1979 to Wallace Linn and Ella (Sneed) Bointy Sr. in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Wallace Linn Jr. was a journeyman plumber, a certified HVAC technician, and mechanic. He could do just about everything, a jack of all trades. He was an Oklahoma Sooners and Denver Broncos fan. He loved to go to pow-wows to sing and dance. Also very active in the Native Church, always following his Kiowa traditional ways. Wallace always had time for kids.
He was a member of the Kiowa Tia-Piah Society, Kiowa Native American Church, Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. He sang with the Bad Medicine and Cedar Dale drum groups. Everyone is going to miss his smile and his infectious loud, hardy laugh.

Mother -- Ella Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada
2 Sisters -- Paula Tanequodle of Las Vegas, Nevada
Shelley Tanequodle-Anderson of Citrus Heights, California


Wallace was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bill and Sallie (Hokeah) Bointy, father Wallace Linn Bointy Sr., brother Steve Buffalohead, uncles; Vincent Bointy, Ronald Jack Bointy, Archie Curley, Daniel Gordon Bointy, RH Hess Bointy, Aunts; Charlotte Doxtator, Donna Gardner, Billie Rose, Mary Beth Josh and a special cousin Karon Wells-Turtle.

Funeral service: 12:00PM Saturday December 30, 2017

Interment: Mt. Scott KCA Cemetery
