Virgil L. Wolfe, 83 passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on December 29, 1931, in Carnegie, Oklahoma to William and Mamie Sophia (Tsoodle) Wolf. Virgil went to Mountain View Schools playing football with a leather helmet. His number one job was serving in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. Among the many jobs, Virgil was a bus driver for Hobart Public Schools, a hay hauler, farm hand and a truck driver for the Cotton Gin in Hobart. He was a member of First American Baptist Church and Sr. Deacon. He was an avid bingo player, casino go'er and sports fanatic. Virgil was also known as "The Mayor of Hobart " in the pow-wow world.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Mamie Wolfe, wife Eva Lois Tselee Wolfe, children Marvin Wolfe, Homer Wolfe, Virgil Wolfe Jr., and Christy Wolfe, granddaughter Bessie Wolfe, grandson James Ray Stephens, sisters Christa Mae Bosin and Leona Berry.
