Vernell Norris

Vernell Norris, 80, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away at his home on August 31st, 2022. He was born December 27, 1941 to Eli and Katherine (Johnson) Norris in McAlester, Oklahoma. Vernell moved to Hobart at the age of 13. He attended Dunbar Public School until transferring to Hobart High School to play high school football. At 18 years of age, Vernell enlisted in the National Guard. He later returned to Hobart for several years. Vernell loved fishing, hunting, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
