Verna Rae Hardin, 89, of Shamrock formerly of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away on November 9, 2019 in Shamrock, TX.
Verna was born May 7, 1930 in Saddle Mountain, Oklahoma to Raymond Edward and Happy Barnes. She married Guy Snell Hardin on July 13, 1980 in Hobart, Oklahoma. Verna was known for her love for people and fun to be around. She always had a giving heart and loved to volunteer. Verna had a passion for family. She was the family go to person and was the family genealogy expert. She loved fast and nice cars. Verna was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Luan Cox; two brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren, Amber Denise Dean and Raymond Daxx Jones.
Verna is survived by her son, Terry Goodfellow and wife Katie of Shamrock; her daughter, Jodi Glazner of Shamrock; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Robertson Funeral Directors in Shamrock, Texas.
