Venoy Foust, 74, of Rocky, Oklahoma, passed away March 31, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on April 26, 1941 in Cogar, Oklahoma to Cecil and Rena (Gillis) Foust. He graduated high school and later went on to marry Sarah Woodard on May 16, 1982.Venoy was a Christian who was saved as a young man. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He served as a Washita County Commissioner from 1974-78. Venoy was a carpenter by trade, and had worked for the city of Rocky for 20 years. He enjoyed riding and working with horses, roping, woodworking, gardening, music, and country dancing. His love for the outdoors extended to grilling in the outdoor kitchen he designed and built himself. He enjoyed his time as a volunteer at the Rocky Senior Citizens Center, and he was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Rena Foust, one sister-in-law Barbara Foust, mother-in-law and father-in-law Bob and Mary Coffey and 1 son-in-law Bunny Stephens
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 4th, 2016, at the Odessa Cemetery North of Gotebo, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
