Velma Bernice Miller

Velma B. Miller, 85, of Clinton, OK formerly of Hobart, passed away August 10th, 2012 in Clinton, OK. She was born October 17th, 1926 to Claude P. and Ethel Mae (Loudermilk) Kenimer in Hobart, OK. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1945. Velma was married to Alfred O. Miller August 31, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX who preceded her in death, June 29, 2009. She lived in Kiowa County for eighty two years and Custer County for three years. Velma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt, OK.

three grandchildren, Douglas Miller and wife, Amanda, Elk City, OK
David Miller and wife, Esther, Oklahoma City, OK

four great grandchildren, Emma, John, Luke and Paul Miller
sister-in-law, Zita Mae Miller, Piedmont, OK
cousin, Lena Harris, Hobart, OK
several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred O. Miller, brother, Mack Kenimer, three sisters, Opal Hall, Willa Hays and Dixie Woodward.

Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Roosevelt, OK
Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Cooperton, OK
