Una C Walker

Una Carter Walker, 102, of Hobart, Oklahoma formerly of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2019 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born on August 28th, 1917 to Robert T and Rachel (Southall) Canon in Stith, Texas. She met the love of her life, Alfred R Carter and they married on May 22, 1938 in Rocky, OK. They were married for 59 wonderful years, he preceded her in death in 1997. Una married Jake Walker in 1999 in Sentinel, OK. He preceded her in death in 2002. She enjoyed taking care of her family and anyone else who she thought was in need. She loved to cook for people and deliver meals, but most of all she loved to bake. Una enjoyed playing bridge and being a hostess to her bridge club. She worked on the Washita County Election Board for over forty years. Una was a member of the Sentinel Northeast Church of Christ. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by Parents, 2 Husbands: Alfred Carter and Jake Walker, 6 Siblings: Earl Canon, Sis Curb, Owen Canon, Carl Canon, Nona Elder, Bud Canon.
