Twila G. Keisler, 83, of Anadarko passed away on June 10, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma encircled by her family.
Twila was born July 7, 1932 to Arthur L. (Bus) and Wilma Faye (Jennings) Killer in Colony, Oklahoma. She moved to Anadarko when she was five years old and after graduating from Anadarko High School in 1949, Twila attended the Ft. Worth School of Business. She met and married her generous and loving husband, Alfred D. Keisler, on September 7, 1951 in Anadarko. Twila enjoyed being an accountant and was often helping others organize or solve their accounting issues. She worked outside the home for the ASCS office, Hollytex (Sequoyah) Carpet Mills and the Anadarko Hospital. She didn't care for retirement and returned to work another 10 years before finally retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Anadarko Church of Christ. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, learning and especially enjoyed camping with her children and grandchildren. Her many family blessings increased again with 14 great grandchildren. Her incredible kindness and endless encouragement to others will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Al; daughters: Candy Setters and husband Robert of Anadarko, Sherry Lindsey and husband Monty of Oklahoma City and Carol Perkins of Chugiak, Alaska; a special niece and nephew Twila and Al raised after her sister passed over: Patricia Henry and husband Ken of Rockwood, Michigan and Shawn Sandt and wife Sonja of Elk City; grandchildren: Thomas Setters and Joshua Setters of Anadarko, Paige Newcomb and husband Cory of Jones, Greg Lindsey of Oklahoma City, Alicia Woods of Chugiak, Alaska, Bryan Elliott of Funny River, Alaska, LeeAndrea Wisnienski of North Pole, Alaska, Christina OMarrah of Nobleville, Indiana; great grandchildren: Tabri, Casen, Sullivan, Justus, Felicia Ann, Dominique Nicole, Tiffany, Angel, Alex, Kody, Aiden, Jacob, Liam and Seamus; special nieces and nephew: Breanna, Aubrey and Haylee Sandt, Darlene Lewis and David Ray; one special Goddaughter: Allison Roche of Del City; and numerous relatives, church family and friends.
Twila was preceded in death by her parents: Wilma Childers and Arthur "Bus" Killer, her step-dad Ray Childers, her sister Twinkle Sandt and step-brother Fred Childers.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, with Pulpit Minister Paul Richardson officiating under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
