Tina Michelle Wishon, 46, of Anadarko, was born March 17, 1968, to Teddy Lee and Jeri (Gomez) Wishon in Oklahoma City. She passed from this life on Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Oklahoma City.
Tina attended Washita and Anadarko schools throughout her youth. As a young adult, she lived in North Carolina, Tennessee and then spent the remainder of her life in Oklahoma. She and Randy Anderson were blessed with a son in 1997, Michael (Mikey) Logan Anderson. Tina was a very hard worker. She worked as a retail clerk, house cleaner, waitress and a bakery, as she enjoyed interacting with her customers and always had a smile on her face.
Tina enjoyed many things. Those activities always involved her family and friends. Tina loved to cook delicious food and shared that food with everyone. Tina enjoyed listening to music and loved going to concerts. She loved dancing, riding motorcycles and going to the lake. Tina had a big heart and love for everyone.
Preceding her in death was her father, Teddy Lee Wishon, Sr.; two brothers, Teddy Lee Wishon, Jr. and Sean Paul Wishon; 2 uncles, Ricky Gomez and Tommy Gomez; 2 aunts, Cissy Reagan and Dimple Davila; grandparents, G. C. Gomez, Famie Gomez, Everett Wishon and Leola Capps.
Survivors include her mother, Jeri Severns; one son, Mikey Anderson; two brothers, Travis Wishon and Zach Wishon; special godparents, Jr. and Lila (Nina and Nino) Brookshire, all of Anadarko; special uncle, Victor Davila; uncle Kenneth Hobbs, both of Oklahoma City, uncle Phillip Gomez; four aunts, Teresa Stephenson, Bebo Riley and her husband, Gerald, all of Anadarko, Sherree Hobbs-Ingle and her husband, Floyd and JoAnn Gomez-Onti both of Oklahoma City; two nieces, Kyanna Wishon of Purcell and Kiera Wishon of Anadarko; one nephew, Troy Wishon of Choctaw; a special friend, Vernon “Pancho†Ellis of Chickasha; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
A prayer service will be held at 7 P.M., Monday, July 7, 2014, in the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Vasquez officiating.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Anadarko First Assembly of God with Pastor Roger Reston officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.steversonfuneralhome.com .
