Timothy Harold Giblet

August 19, 1951 — April 29, 2019

Timothy Harold Giblet, our precious Tim, was born August 19th 1951 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Harold and JoAda Giblet and was called to his heavenly home April 29th 2019 in Falls Church, Virginia. Tim is survived by his three children Jenny Giblet of Woodbridge, Virginia; Taylor Giblet of Dallas, Texas; and Candice Giblet of Duncan, Oklahoma. His sisters Melissa Chesney of Woodbridge, Virginia; Damaris Dobbs and her husband David of Cordell, Oklahoma; and Beth Diffendaffer and her husband Stan of Sentinel, Oklahoma. Four nephews, Kyle Dobbs, Andrew Dobbs, Derek Diffendaffer and his wife Lindsey, and Casey Chesney. Three nieces Yvonne Hughes and her husband Curtis, Savannah Ziegs and her husband Andy, and Sammy Jo Diffendaffer. Eight great nieces and nephews.
Tim accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was always excited to share the good news and promises of Jesus Christ with a broken world. Tim was a bold witness, never fearing to share his faith. Always looking forward to the Lord's return, Tim began to research eschatology at the age of 17 and anxiously anticipated the Lord's return his entire life.
Leaving the rural area of Oklahoma, Tim moved to Virginia in 2004 where he worked for the re-election efforts of President George W. Bush and in the Executive Office of the President until the end of his administration in 2008. Following his years of service in the White House, Tim worked as a government contractor for the intelligence community. Always humble, Tim remained the same country boy who had driven tractors and trucks, built fences and houses as a young man. Tim rode on Air Force One and interacted with powerful men and women, but was happiest working with his hands to make his home beautiful and spending time with his family and his children who were the light of his life.
Tim had friends in all walks of life. To know Tim was to love him. He practiced love, forgiveness, and was an example to pattern a life after. He was loved and he will be missed, but we know he is in the arms of his heavenly father and we look forward to seeing him again one day.
