Timothy Charles Bailey Sr.

Timothy Charles Bailey, Sr., 50, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away surrounded by his family on September 6th, 2024. He was born on July 1st, 1974, to John Burrette and Francis Lucille (Ware) Bailey in Lawton, Oklahoma. He grew up and attended school in Carnegie graduating from Carnegie High School in 1993. He then attended Culinary School at Caddo County Vo-Tech, he worked for the Town of Carnegie, and he was also a firefighter for the Kiowa Tribe from 1994-1996, traveling to many states. He was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe and a member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan. His hobbies included being with his family, watching Swamp People, and collecting rocks. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include: wife, Courtney, of the home. Daughters, Megan and husband Brandon, Lufkin, Tx; and Leanna and husband, Doug Carnegie, Ok and son, Timothy Bailey, Jr of the home. Grandson, Setimkia Stumblingbear, Carnegie, Ok. Mother, Frances Bailey, Carnegie, Ok; Sisters, Sharon and husband Gabriel, Gretna, Ne; and Rachel and husband Brian, Elk City, Ok. And brother, John Bailey, Jr, Carnegie, Ok. 7 nephews, Arian, Caden, Logan, Luke, Mason, Chase and Braxton. Cousins Lisa Koomsa Elfasi, Lori Koomsa Kellam, Donna Richey, Micah Ware, Dottie Proctor, Ivy Yeahquo, Robert Burcum, Robbin Sanders, Janice Sanchez, David Anderson, Shannon Anderson, Martha Bialas, Goo-Goo Hernasy and Randi Hernasy. Mother-in-law Debbie Davis and Brother-in- law Talon Davis. A special Uncle, Cletus Satepauhoodle and a host of aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by father, John Bailey, Sr. Maternal grandparents, Walden and Ivy Satepauhoodle Ware, Father in law Dewayne Keith Davis, Cousins Walden, Charity, Chris, Kevin, Phillip, Nancy Kay and Erin, 3 Aunts & 4 Uncles.

Funeral services will be held at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Thursday September 12th at 10am, Reverend Monroe Tsatoke and Reverend Samuel Otis officiating. Burial will follow at the Satepauhoodle Family Cemetery.
