Thomas Burke Woodard, Sr.

Rev. Thomas Burke Woodard, 83, of Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Friday October 21, 2022 at the Chickasha Nursing Center. He was born on May 3, 1939 to Oliver and Pearl Woodard in Lawton, Oklahoma. Thomas grew up in Carnegie/Anadarko while attending Riverside Indian School. He was united in marriage to Bertalee Seahmer in 1964 until she passed away in 1989. He then met Ruby Mae Ahhaitty and they were united in marriage on December 31, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Thomas was passionate about serving his Lord, surrendering to preach in 1965. Thomas was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe. Kohn loved all of his grandkids, little brothers, and little sisters tremendously. I know that being around his loved ones was what kept his life full and happy. So we know when the good Lord called him home, his journey on this earth was complete. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We will not say goodbye, instead we say Hai-Gah Aim Aui Bohn Thaw.

1 Daughter: Pearl Edge & husband Jr, Carnegie, Ok
Grandchildren: Kristopher Toppah, Brandon and Baylee Edge, Megan Edge of Jay, OK. Larry Woodard, Angel Monzon, Allahna Woodard of OKC, OK. Bertalee Woodard of Carnegie, OK. Damien Woodard of Lawton, OK. Shaina Woodard- Lebret of WA.
Little brothers & sisters: Brayleigh, Brooklyn, Quentin, Chayson, Kaiden, Cameron, Blaine, Hazel, Anthony, Larry Jr, Brexton, and Kylan.
Sister: Loretta Scantin of Norman, OK.
Brother: Joe Fish of Anadarko, OK.

Preceded in death by his First wife: Bertalee Woodard, Second wife: Ruby Woodard, Daughter: Mary Woodard, Son: Willis Woodard, Parents: Oliver & Pearl Woodard, Siblings: Phil Bohay, George Botone, Lena Bohay Kaulaity, Allene & Allen Woodard, & Marcus Woodard Jr. Grandson: Jacob Woodard.
