Thomas Floyd "Butch" Rudder Sr., 76, of Anadarko, OK was born September 5, 1943 to Horace Thomas and Dorothy Pearl (Hooper) Rudder, Dallas, TX and passed away January 16, 2020 in Anadarko, OK after an extended illness. Butch joined the Navy at the age of 17 and was stationed in El Centro, CA. He was manager at several Montgomery Wards; Baptist Preacher; Owner of Rudder Appliance Store, Carnegie, OK; policeman in Carnegie, Mt. View and retired from the Altus PD as a detective in 1982. Butch attended Cameron University and Oklahoma Missionary Baptist College received his degree in theology and earned a BA Degree. He was married to Dana Jean Scrudder on April 23, 1993 in Carnegie, OK. Butch was a perpetual member of the Masonic Lodge in Mt. View, Carnegie and Cyril, Shriners Scottish Rite and New York Rite.
