Thirza Ann Shields

Thirza Ann Shields, 70, of Gotebo, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on December 19th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on October 9th, 1952 to Eby Don and Hazel (Cox) Walters in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Thirza grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell high school in 1970. She met the love of her life David Shields and they were united in marriage on November 4, 1977 in Cordell, OK and together they raised 3 children. Thirza worked as a rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 32 years and she dearly loved her customers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gotebo, Oklahoma. Thirza loved her family more than anything in this world. She was her grandkids biggest fan. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
