Theodocia Josephine Pearson

November 2, 1912 — May 5, 2014

On May 5th, 2014 the Lord called another angel home. Theodocia Josephine Davis was welcomed in the family of Bill and Addie (Plumblee) Davis on November 2, 1912 in Mountain View, OK. She was the oldest of four children. Josephine married Claude Pearson, the man she was to spend over 53 years with and to this union , two children were born who passed in infancy. With this loss, Josephine and Claude's love became even stronger. They worked tirelessly together on their farm in the Cooperton, OK area. In 1977 they retired from farming and moved to Mountain View where they became members of the First Baptist Church and dedicated their lives to the work there. Josephine was in charge of the funeral dinners prepared for many and no one could cook the "roast" like she could. Aunt Josephine will be missed by all who loved her, along with the cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving and her apricot cobbler with home made ice cream..

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Claude, 1988, two sisters, Mildred "Johnnie" Walker and Mercedes "Duck" Spence, one brother, Jim Davis and two infant children.
