Terry Jones

Terry Dale Jones, 65, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2024, at the Cordell Memorial Hospital in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on July 7th, 1958, to Dale and Zettie (Lapel) Jones in Cordell, Oklahoma. Terry grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1976. After high school Terry attended Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. He worked at the Clinton Sherman Air Force base in Burns Flat, Oklahoma from 1989 to 1991. Terry enjoyed going and helping his brother Randy with custom harvest, he could drive a combine better than most people. Terry owned and operated Terry's Paint and Body for 35 years and was also on the auto body mechanics panel for the Fort Cobb Vo-Tech. He loved building and restoring classic cars, he also enjoyed attending classic car shows. He married Donna Christian on November 11, 2006. He helped Donna run Sunshine Cafe starting in 2007. Terry bought Jacks Flowers in 2018. He enjoyed watching cooking shows on t.v. and delivering flowers. Terry was an avid OU and Thunder fan. He loved his family more than anything, never missing a band concert, contest or game. He would always text the kids keeping them updated on the weather so they would stay safe. Terry loved putting a smile on people's face's when he delivered flowers and comforting them during a loss. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
