Terry Darnell Boardingham

Terry Darnell Boardingham, 59, passed away August 19, 2021, in Lawton, OK. He was born April 19, 1962, OKC, OK to Major and Barbara Jean (Riddle) Boardingham.
Terry was raised in Anadarko, OK and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1980. He won the Wrestling State Championship in 1980. He went straight into the Marine Corp. Terry worked at Maremont Corporation in Chickasha, OK before his 19 1/2 year career at Goodyear in Lawton, OK.
In his spare time when he wasn't working, he was still working. He was a mentor, motivational speaker, preacher, coach, and man of God. Terry was loved by everyone in the community. He took care of many people and the community. Terry mowed lawns for free, cleaned abandoned lots for free. He started the Warrior Hope project to clean up the community. Terry owned In & Out Car Cleaning business, coached little league wrestling. He loved attending wrestling matches and football games. Terry always had a smile on his face and had uplifting words for everyone he encountered. If you knew him, you know he would give the shirt off his back or last dollar to help someone.
You could catch him on his morning walk from Washington street, past Walmart back down Petree road and back. He liked to kick back and watch movies with his parents. They had water guns and the first one to go to sleep would get shot. He was the first one to lose in the game. Terry was highly respected and loved by everyone.
