Terry Moore, 59, of Anadarko, was born March 21, 1956, in Yakima, Washington. He passed from this life on Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Oklahoma City.
Terry was raised in Anadarko and graduated with the Class of 1974. In high school, he worked for Wayne Noland at the Pow-Wow Drive-in until Ed Malzacher at the Warrior Drive-in offered him a dime more per hour. Terry learned the heating, air conditioning and electrical trade from his father, the late Tom Moore. He took over Tom Moore Electric in 1978.
At a young age, Terry enjoyed motorcycles, and later, he really liked building and riding Harley's. He liked guns, taught classes and even built guns. But most of all, Terry loved spending time with his daughter, Sierra.
Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Emma Moore; father, Tom Moore; step-brother, Terry Michael Ratliff; uncle, J.W. Moore; aunt, Alice Dubbs and good friend, Joe David Barr.
Survivors include his daughter, Sierra; mom, Joyce (Moore) Olson, step-mom, Janey Moore, all of Anadarko; brother, Butch of Yukon; nephew, Ryan Moore of Norman; niece, Autumn Moore of Yukon; two aunts, Louise Barker and her husband, Harry of South Carolina and Lula Macia of California.
The funeral will be at 1:30 P.M., Friday, July 3, 2015, at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Roger Reston officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at
