Teresa Lynn Gillihan

March 23, 1953 — December 27, 2020

Teresa Lynn Gillihan, 67 of Cordell Ok, passed away on December 27th 2020, surrounded by her beloved family in Omaha Nebraska.

Teresa, born on March 23rd 1953 to Marguerite and William L.D. Priebe in Hobart Ok, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Teresa went on to graduate from Mountain View High School in 1971. After graduating from high school, Teresa went on to pursue a degree in Pharmacy at SWOSU, which was ultimately put on hold to help provide for her family.

In 1984, she met Lawrence Gillihan, and the two were inseparable from that point forward. Teresa and Lawrence were married for over 29 years and had 2 children - Janet Sandlian and Chuck Priebe.

Family came first and was above all else to Teresa, a value she instilled in all those around her. She was often seen in and around town usually in the company of Lawrence. She would alway greet friends as well as strangers with a warm smile followed by a quick "hey sweetie, how have you been?" Then leave in the same manner but with a hug included. She rarely met a stranger or a person she wasn't willing to chit chat with or help. Her warm southern and motherly personality will be deeply missed and the hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Teresa is preceded in death by William L.D. Priebe, Marguerite Priebe/Kinder. She is survived by Lawrence Gillihan, Janet Sanlian (Co), Chuck Priebe (Ok), 8 grandchildren, 4 sisters Pam Hines of Cordell Ok, Darla Hooper of Mountain View Ok, Debi Flinn of Mountain View Ok, and Ida Carney of Colony Ok as well as a whole slew of nieces and nephews.

Flowers, arrangements and whatnot can be sent to Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Cordell Ok. Services are to be held January 4th @ 11:00 am followed by a short graveside ceremony at Longview Cemetery in Cordell Ok.
