"Cyd" Charisse Gayle Beatty was born on July 30, 1957, in Oklahoma City to Fred and Alberta (James) Beatty. She departed this life on July 18, 2022, in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 64.
Cyd attended St. Josephs grade school and Mount Saint Mary's high school in OKC. She later attended Fashion Merchandising school in Dallas, TX, and then later worked as a dental hygienist.
Cyd was member of the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. She was a very devoted Christian and loved to study the Bible. She enjoyed reading and writing and could quote scripture from every book. Cyd loved animals, especially cats. She was a kind and caring person who was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Cyd will be truly missed by all those who loved her.

Siblings: sister Patricia DeCosty, and nephews Fiore �Fee' DeCosty Jr., Derek DeCosty and Damon DeCosty of Florida and South Carolina.
Brother: Fred Beatty, Crow Agency, Montana, niece Rhea and Phil LittleLight of Billings, Montana, Trish Beatty and Terrence �Pip' Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, and Teonna and Keithan LittleLight of Crow Agency, Montana.
Brother: George and Michelle Beatty and nieces Ryan Beatty, Lakota Beatty, and Nichole Beatty of Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Special brother and sister: Gary and Cheryl Harry and family
Special niece: Melanie Oyebi and family
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Fred W. and Lena Beatty; Maternal grandpa's Jesse James (Tewinin) and Harry Smith, and grandma Ida (Kio titi) Smith; Parents Fred and Alberta Beatty; brother Daryl Beatty; sister-in-law Rachel WhiteClay Beatty; nephew Bryan Beatty and niece Ashley Beatty; brother-in-law Fiore DeCosty Sr.
