Susan Michele Jones

Susan Michele Jones, 65, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 12, 2024, in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was born on March 4, 1959, to Troy Elmo and Delores K (Kerley) Maddox in Wichita Falls, Texas. Michele moved to Cordell, Oklahoma, in the 6th grade, graduating from Cordell High School in 1977. She married the love of her life, Steve Jones, on December 12, 1980, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Michele loved her Sunday School class and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She also taught the youth girls Sunday School class for many years and enjoyed that very much. Michele was also a member of the Women's Warrior Prayer Group. She loved her family dearly. Michele loved her granddaughters something fierce. She loved spending all of her time with them, letting them sleepover, taking them shopping or doing whatever they could talk her in to. Michele loved traveling, going to Branson was her favorite. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
