Sophia Ruthalee Nightingale, 89, Corn, OK resident passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013, in Weatherford, OK. Sophia was born October 15, 1923, to John and Katie (Schmidt) Koehn in Goltry, OK. At the age of five, she moved to Caddo county where she lived until 2007. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a revival in 1942. Sophia was united in marriage to Elmer Nightingale on April 23, 1944, at the Greenfield Mennonite Church, south of Carnegie. She was a longtime member of Greenfield Mennonite Church and later became a member of the Herold Mennonite Church of rural Bessie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, one son Orlin, one daughter Jeannie, her parents John C. and Katie Koehn, her brother Lloyd Koehn, and sister Edna Unruh.
Family will greet friends at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 pm.
