Shirley Ann Mclaughlin

March 18, 1950 — September 8, 2021

Shirley Ann McLaughlin, 71, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on September 8th, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 18th, 1950 to Walter and Ethel (Suson) Gray in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Shirley grew up and attended school in Chickasha, graduating from Chickasha High School in 1968. She met the love of her life Ralph McLaughlin, they were united in marriage on April 4, 1969. To this union a son, Steve McLaughlin was born. Shirley work for the Robertson Factory for many years, then she went to worked as the Washita County Clerk for over 30 years. She was a member of the 4th & College Church of Christ. Shirley enjoyed growing things, cooking for her family, cross stitch, playing the slot machines at the casino and researching minerals. During the holiday season she loved decorating the christmas tree with her family, and made special desserts for each one of them. Shirley also loved her cats. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family.

Son: Steve McLaughlin & Stacia of Cordell, OK
Sister: Linda Foster of Moore, OK
Nephew: Mike Foster of Geary, OK

Preceded in death by her Husband: Ralph McLaughlin and her Parents: Walter & Ethel Gray
