Shirley Elaine Harris

Shirley Elaine Harris, 84, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 10th, 2018 at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was born on July 19th, 1934 to Sam and Elsie (Hines) Downs in Cordell. She grew up and attended school in Cordell graduating high school in 1951. Shirley met and married her high school sweetheart Buddy Maddox in this union was born two sons; Mike and Don. Later she met Doyle Harris and they married, he also precedes her in death. Shirley worked as the Secretary at Oklahoma Natural Gas for many years. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

1 Step Granddaughter: Kryssi Morris of Fort Cobb, OK
10 Great Grandchildren: Trace, Colby, Ty, Tanner, Kaylie, Lexi, Levi, Talon, Zander, Madi.
3 Step Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Cassie and Shaylon


Preceded in death by her Parents: Sam & Elsie Downs, Husbands: Buddy Maddox and Doyle Harris.
