Shelby Leon Crawford

Shelby Leon Crawford, 82, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 18, 1942, to John Richard & Lounita (Hudgins) Crawford, in Carnegie, OK. Shelby attended grade school in Boone and graduated from Apache High School in 1960. He met and married the love of his life, Kaye Rogers, on February 2, 1962, at Bethel Baptist Church. Together they made their home in Anadarko, raising their children, Roger & Melissa. Shelby enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1966 and served in the Vietnam War. He worked in HVAC as a civil servant at Fort Sill for 15 years. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he led the building and grounds committee for many years. If something was broken, he could fix it. He was known for helping family and friends at the drop of a hat. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, woodworking, and going to garage sales. Shelby will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sister-in-law: Dianne Rogers, Anadarko, OK
