Sharon Diane Cooper

Sharon Diane Cooper, 65, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2022, at the Cordell Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 11th, 1956, to Charles and Christine McCarthy in Houston, Texas. Sharon grew up and attended school in Connecticut and graduated from House in the Pines Boarding School in Massachusetts. She attended SWOSU and received her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Sharon was a member of the Western Oklahoma Environmental Service. She was an Environmentalist and Activist. Sharon enjoyed rock collecting and loved music. Sharon was also known by her nickname, Earthmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children Ferrin and Elyse.
