Shaneeka Nichelle Mayo

Shaneeka Nichelle Mayo was born May 2, 1978 to Phillis and Hersey Mayo and went to eternal peace on June 7, 2023 at her home. Shaneeka also known as "Sissy" was born in Newport News, Virginia and grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma where she graduated with the Anadarko Class of 1996. In high school Sissy was known for her beautiful spirit and fast speed on the Anadarko Track team.
Shaneeka started working right out of high school at Gabriel in Chickasha and was a dental assistant for 13 years. She loved helping others so she obtained her Certified Nurse Aide license so that she could help the people she loved.
Shaneeka's pride and joy was her two daughters Alyssa and Tayla. She loved them wholeheartedly and "to infinity and beyond". Shaneeka loved the Oklahoma Sooners and getting together with family and friends.
Shaneeka is proceeded in death by her: mother Phillis Cunningham, Her grandparents Virginia and Jerry Barton, Maude E. and Hersey Perry. Her aunts: Leathry Rose, Verna Pendarvis, and Jan Doss. Her uncles Jerry Barton Jr. Vaughn Barton, Johnny Barton, Edwin Barton and John Henry Mayo and her nephew Phillip Bartley.
Shaneeka is survived by her daughters: Alyssa Antunez (Alex) of Lawton, Ok; Tayla Bish of Chickasha, OK. Her Father, Hersey Mayo II (Barbara) of Sulfolk, VA. Her brothers: Robert Huskey Jr. (Kristie) of Lawton, OK. Hersey Mayo Jr. of Colorado Springs. Her sisters: Tiffany Holmes of Oklahoma City, OK and Kristina Mayo of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her Nephew Mr. Bryce Beckett of Moore, Oklahoma and great nephews; Isaiah Beckett and Carter Perry. Her Nieces: Kaylee Bish, Kennedy Huskey and Kirby Huskey. Her aunts: Terry Barton of Everett Washington, and Karen Barton (Larry) of Anadarko, OK, Peggy Wilson (Vernon), Lillian Mayo, Gloria Mayo Clark (Russell), Gwendolyn Owens, Cheryl Debraux (Curtis) Wanda Perry Harvey (Paul) of Suffolk, VA. Angelia Brown (Albert) Waverly, VA and Emma King Randolph (Terrance) Smithfield, VA. and her Uncle Allen Barton of Anadarko, OK, William Mayo (Car-oyln) Suffolk, Va and Marvin Mayo (Shelia) Portsmouth, VA.
The following people were a special part of Shaneeka's life. Her first cousins. Irwin Barton and Chiela Noralas. The father of her children James Bish Jr., their grandmother Doris Bish, their aunt Jamie Bish. Her special daughter Skye Ussery. Her Best Friends for life: Jessica Johnson, Diane Pewo, Keneisha Williams, Robin Allen, Misti McNamar and Brandy Jantz.
She is survived by a host of other family and friends.
