Savondo Ybarra, 52, of Fort Cobb, OK passed away Monday, September 17th, 2012. He was born March 26th, 1960 to Frank and Thelma (High) Ybarra in Lawton, OK.
He attended school at Fort Sill Indian School and also in Pasadena, CA. He attended Okmulgee Technology Center and received his degree in Culinary Arts. Savondo was a member of the First Apache Baptist Church, First Indian Baptist Church, Fort Cobb and also a member of the Native American Church. Some of his hobbies he enjoyed were boxing, martial arts, baking, mechanic work, fishing, and Native American crafts. He was also a member of the Carnegie Victory Club and the Blackfoot Society. Savondo had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren, as well as his family and friends.
