Saranell Farr

Saranell Farr, 88, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1935 to Roy A and Dora (Hayes) Mitchell in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Saranell grew up and attended school in Carnegie, graduating from Carnegie High School in 1953. She met Joe Winfred Farr, they were united in marriage in 1953. Saranell worked many years for the Farmers Home Administration. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Mountain View. Saranell enjoyed cooking and baking. Saranell loved playing bridge with her friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include:
Daughter: JoRita Petty & husband Jim, Hattiesburg, MS
A host of nieces and nephews.
