Sarah Britton

Sarah Britton, 85, of Sentinel, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2020 at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma.
She was born on July 30th, 1935 to Derby Richard and Fronie Bell (King) Dorsey in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Sarah grew up and attended school in Port, Oklahoma. She attended nursing school and received her LPN License in 1978. She worked at the Sentinel Nursing Home as Director of Nursing for 18years and continued her nursing career at other nursing facilities in the surrounding areas until she retired. She married Joseph Britton on March 30th 1973 in Sentinel, Oklahoma. She brought to this union 5 children Ricky, Michael, Pam, Terry and Ranee. From this union they had Jo Lynn to complete their family. Sarah was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sentinel. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Joe Britton, two great granddaughters Kylie McMillan and Nevaeh Horn and 7 brothers and sisters.

Grandchildren: Nikki Shepherd, Alisa Russ, Heather Lesley, Tommy Harris, Sarah Morrow, Anthony Robinson, Jeff Wann, Dustin Wann, Timothy Wann, Danny Wegner, Zachary Evans, and Kaitlyn Solis.
