Samuel Dow Morgan

Samuel D. Morgan, Jr., 86, Hobart, OK, passed away on Wednesday, November 21st, 2012, at O.U. Medical Center. He was born in Atchison, KS on April 3rd, 1926 to Samuel and Helen (Hays) Morgan. He graduated high school from Atchison, KS. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration and was in the Navy and served during World War II. Samuel moved to Hobart, OK and worked at the airport for 20 years. He was a member on the VFW and a member of the First Christian Church in Hobart. He loved to write poetry.

one daughter, Cynthia Lyman and husband, Ken, Lawton. OK
11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandchild, Amelia.

Funeral Services: 10 a.m., Thursday, November 29th, 2012 at First Christian Church, Hobart, OK

Interment: Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, MO
