Sallie MarthaJo Bointy, 31, of Anadarko, Oklahoma passed away with her family by her side at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK on April 25, 2018.
Sallie Jo was born on February 7, 1987 to Joe and Shirley (Lolly) Arkeketa Bointy in Lawton Indian Hospital, Lawton, OK.
She attended school and graduated from Anadarko High School in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 2005. She attended Southwestern Indian Polytechnical Institute (SIPI) following graduation and Cameron University. She graduated from Talking Leaves with a Certificate in Business Technology.
Sallie is survived by her father, Joe Bill Bointy, Aunt Edna (Fuzzy) Bointy, her beloved Angel Reyes, her brothers, Monte Arkeketa (Lisa) and Austin D. Hunting Horse (Mary), Raymond James Kodaseet, and Donald Joe Bointy (Cybil), nephews, Jacob, Keelan, Levi, Jake, and Ray, nieces, Kylee and Kelsey, ,and Uncles, Albert Horse, Alan Arkeketa (Linda), and Aunts Jackie Arkeketa, Martha Silverhorn, (Roddy) and Carol Thompson (Tom). She is survived by many loving cousins and friends. including her closest cousin, Shirley Coley and her childhood and lifelong friend Leah Kaulaity.
Sallie had an awesome personality. She was full of life, smart, witty, and humorous and she made people laugh. She cared for people and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be grievously missed by her many many friends and relatives.
Sallie was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley "Lolly" Arkeketa, sister, Virginia Kawaykla, two nephews Tod Hutchinson and Warren Kane Bointy, and cousins, Karon Kaye Turtle and Jan Yeahquo.
The following will be held at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, 1115 S. Mission, Anadarko, Ok.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on May 1st,
Wake will be held 6pm to 8pm on April 30, 2018.
Viewing will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 1p - 5p and Monday, April 30, 2018 from 9am - 6pm.
