Ruth Naomi Stephens

Ruth Naomi Stephens, 93, passed away March 20th, 2018. She was born June 10th, 1924 in Bethany, Oklahoma to Daniel Webster and Verna Lou Myrtle (Bankston) Cooper. Ruth spent 40 years working as an LPN at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart. She was a member of The Rebecca Lodge. She loved to sew and spend time gardening. She also did a lot of quilting and crafted many things. Religion was very important to her. She attended the Pentecostal Church of God in Hobart, Oklahoma for many years.

She is survived by three grandchildren;
LaJuanna Robinson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
Brian J and wife Olivia Oakley of Hobart, Oklahoma,
Crystal Cole of McCloud, Oklahoma,
six great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Marcella, two brothers; Isaac and Noah, and two sisters; Easter and Mary Lois.

She loved all of them with a bushel and a peck with a hug around the neck.
