Ruth Lee

Ruth Lee, 87, was born on May 16, 1928, to Willie C. Johnson and Missouri (Davis) Johnson in Cache, Oklahoma. She entered into rest June 24, 2015, in Oklahoma City. Ruth lived all of her life in Hobart, where she was united in marriage to William H. Lee in March of 1957. She went to Lone Wolf Public School before going to work in the cotton field. Ruth worked hard at many jobs in her life until she retired from Good Samaritan Home, in Hobart, Oklahoma after working eight years.

She is survived by :

Wiletta Smith and husband Robert, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Arlene Lee, Hobart, Oklahoma
her sons: Elvin Jackson and wife Laura, Fort Worth, Texas
Tommie Deshazer and wife Barbara, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Sammy Lee, Tulsa, Oklahoma
two sisters: Pearly Brown and Juanita Lesley, Tulsa, Oklahoma
and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William H. Lee, one daughter Alene Bonds, three sons, James M. Stinson, Charles Stinton, Curtis Deshazer, four brothers; Bozo Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, David Johnson, Napelon Johnson, and four sisters; Lullia Mae Anderson, Joanna Gilbert, Naomi Elix, Willa Mae Powell, two granddaughters, Glenda F. Frye and Lafonda E. Johnson

Burial: Roosevelt, Cemetery, Roosevelt, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
