Ruth Knauss, 88, of Fort Cobb, OK passed away February 21, 2013. She was born January 5th, 1925 to William and Mary Ella (Hightower) Blackburn in Hoyt, OK. She attended and graduated from Stigler High School. She was united in marriage for almost sixty one years to Paul Knauss December 15, 1946 in Anadarko, OK who preceded her in death November 29, 2007. She was a member of the Crescent Homemaker's Extensions Club and also a former member of the Patty Squares Square Dancing Club. She and her husband would travel all over Oklahoma to Square Dance. Ruth enjoyed gardening, oil painting and studying the Word. She was a member of the Fist Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul, two brothers, Paul and Sherman Blackburn and one sister, Ethel Teeter.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Fort Cobb, OK.
Burial will follow at Fort Cobb Cemetery
