Ruth E. Cole

Ruth (Dobbs) Rubottom Cole, 77, Hobart, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014, in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born in Putnam, Oklahoma on January 26, 1937, to Aaron and Flora (Julian) Dobbs. Ruth was raised in Kiowa County living in Hobart most of her life. She graduated Hobart High School in 1955. Ruth worked at Hobart Steam Laundry and working as a Home Health Aide.


She is survived by her four daughters: Deborah Rubottom, Hobart, OK
Teresa Carney, Armarillo, TX
Daisy Walkup and husband Jackie, Lawton, OK
Judy Jeanson and husband Rick, El Reno, OK
three sons: John Rubottom and wife Beverly, El Reno, OK
Lloyd Rubottom, Hobart, OK
Randall Rubottom and wife Audrey, Mustang, OK
nine grandchildren
28 great-grandchildren
three great-great grandchildren
one brother: JD and Theresa Dobbs, Cordell, OK
numerous nieces and nephews and multiple extended family

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Orville (9/9/2008)

Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
