Rudy John King, 70, of Anadarko, was born February 18, 1945, to Lena King in Griedel, Germany. He passed from this Life on Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Chickasha.
Rudy graduated from Lawton High School and obtained an Associate's Degree from Cameron University. On May 21, 1967, Rudy married Janette Walker in Marlow. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Army National Guard, locksmithing, the Anadarko Fire Department and Western Farmer's Electric Cooperative. Rudy was a deacon and a Sunday School teacher at the Bethel Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his step-father, Earl King and an infant grandson, Tanner.
Survivors include his wife, Janette of the home; three sons, Kenny King and his wife, Gisela and their new baby, Nikolas, born April 16, 2015, of Alexandria, Virginia, Terry King and his wife, Jennifer of Newcastle and Timothy King and his wife, Shana of Edmond; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Serenity, Joshua, Jordan, Jayla, Jentzen and, of course, Nikolas; three brothers, George King and his wife, Pat of Moore, Ricky King and his wife, Debbie of Oklahoma City and Marvin King and his wife, Tammy of Tulsa; his mother, Lena King of Oklahoma City; special friend, Gary Vandeventer; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
An entombment service will be held at the Fort Sill National Cemetery west of Elgin at 10 A.M., Friday, April 24, 2015, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church.
