Ruby Louise Rice, 72, Gotebo, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Hobart, OK. She was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on June 6, 1941 to I.N. & Clarice (Larezelier) Coffey. She graduated Lake Valley High School in 1959 in Lake Valley, OK. Ruby married Kenneth Rice on April 6, 1961 in Hobart, OK. Ruby and Kenneth made their home on a farm North of Gotebo. She was a member of the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Gotebo, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son: Michael Rice, Gotebo, OK
one grandson: Kyle Rice, Jenks, OK
one sister: Helen Lindsey & Herschel, Lawton, OK
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth (2001), one daughter Kenda ( 2006), one brother Bobby Coffey.
Family will meet and greet friends Thursday, March 18, 2014, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2014
Odessa Cemetery, Gotebo, Oklahoma
Officiating: Rev. Denver McGuire
Burial will follow, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Hobart.
