Royce Dave Eskew

Royce Dave Eskew 85 passed from this life and went to be with the Lord on September 6th, 2020.

Royce was born on June 23 1935 to Dave Eskew and Nancy (Self) Eskew In Gotebo, Oklahoma.

Royce grew up in Gotebo, graduated from Lake Valley High School, then served two years in the United States Army stationed in Germany. He returned to marry the love of his life Mae Ruth Kelley on April 8th 1959. From this union two daughters were born, Rebecca and Robin.

Royce lived and worked in the Gotebo area most of his life. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Jennings Trucking for 38 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, carpentry, and he had many other skills. He always said "If somebody else can do it, so can I." And "It's no hill for a climber."

Royce is survived by his daughters Rebecca Law, of Cordell, Robin Thurman and husband Rick of Gotebo. Three grandsons, Jarod Law and wife Crystal of Gotebo, Justin Law and wife Ingrid of Weatherford, Joshua Law of Weatherford, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth, brother Charlie, 3 sisters Ella Lee, Wanda and Floyce, and 3 nephews, David, Steve, and Ricky.
Private graveside services will be held at Sharon Cemetery with Jarod Law officiating.
Services are under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Cordell.
